The skit maker alleged on his Instagram story that some promoters are asking for gay sex in exchange for favors.
Nigerian singer Seun Kuti has finally expressed his views on the online drama initiated by a comment from skit maker Oluwadolarz.
The skit creator, looking to enter the music industry, alleged on his Instagram story that some promoters are asking for sexual favors in exchange for support.
As he put it:
“You’ll promote my songs, endorse my music, and help me reach the top of the charts.
In his response, Don Jazzy urged him to name the individuals involved or retract his statement. This led to many misinterpreting the music mogul’s comments, sparking rumors about him.
Seun Kuti said Don Jazzy’s reply to Oluwadolarz’s allegations is more significant than his N100 million donation to V.D.M NGO.
He noted that Jazzy’s reply suggested he knew many trying to protect wrongdoers in the industry.
Nigerian artist Ayra Starr said she isn’t interested in dating fellow musicians.
She revealed that her ideal partner would be a billionaire who can support her lavish lifestyle.
The 22-year-old shared these thoughts during an interview with Coco Jones for the Musicians on Musicians edition of Rolling Stone.
Coco Jones asked, “Would you want to date someone in your industry since they would understand what you do?”
Ayra Starr responded, “In a perfect world, it wouldn’t be someone from the music industry. Probably just a billionaire. On a yacht. In Dubai. Wearing a thong [laughs].”
