“Kese” from Wizkid’s Morayo album follows the success of his previous single “Piece of My Heart” with Brent Faiyaz. That track also made waves, surpassing one million streams on Spotify within its first day.

According to Chart Data, Wizkid is dominating Nigeria’s music charts, securing the top two positions for the highest-streamed debut songs. “Kese” takes the lead as the most-streamed track, followed closely by “Piece of My Heart” in second place.

Asake’s Grammy-nominated track “MMS” featuring Wizkid from Lungu Boy secured third place with 870,000 streams on its debut day.

Wizkid’s record-breaking success cements his position as a global icon and underscores Afrobeats’ rising influence worldwide.
