Former Niger Delta militant leader Asari Dokubo revealed that he invested more than $2 million in President Bola Tinubu’s 2023 presidential campaign.
Dokubo explained that his substantial financial investment was made with the belief that Tinubu’s leadership would bring positive change to the region.
The former National President of the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) shared this during an appearance on Arise TV’s Morning Show.
Asari Dokubo, the former leader of Niger Delta militants, revealed on Tuesday that he emptied his bank account, investing over $2 million to support President Bola Tinubu’s 2023 presidential campaign.
Dokubo stressed that his substantial financial investment was driven by his belief that Tinubu’s leadership would bring about positive change in the region.
